WRITTEN BY CHESTER EARL GIBLIN:

"I was born September 18, 1976 in Arcanum, Ohio, which is in the western part of the state.

I was married in Denver Colorado December 31, 1903 to Lottie Lorena Powers. We lived in Denver till 1906, then went to Pe Ell Washington. In 1907 we went to Toledo Washington where Grace Margaret was born September 17th. As soon as school was out we went to Denver Colorado where Earl Blanchard Howard was born September 3rd, 1908.

From there we went to Seattle, Washington in 1911. I was an assistant instructor in Physics in the University of Washington for two years.

In the fall of 1913 we moved to Snohomish Washington where I taught Physics and Chemistry for five years. During that time Gaynell Genevieve was born January 24, 1917.

In 1918 we moved to Seattle, Washington. I taught in the Lincoln High School for four years. During that time Gladys Nanaruth was born on January 30, 1919.

In January 1922 I accepted a position in the Auburn High School. I taught there a year and a half. It was there Grace graduated from High School. She went to Parkville Missouri to college and we went to Fallon Nevada. In August 1923 Robert Eugene was born October 1923. [Robert was born October 31] In September I accepted a position in the Fallown High School where I taught Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Mechanical Drawing for twenty one and a half years and my health failed and I had to retire in 1944.

In 1945 we moved to Pomona which is in Southern California where we spent seven very happy years.

"On July 19th 1952 I had a stroke so we had to give up our lovely home in Pomona. On May 2nd 1953 we came to Henderson Nevada to be near Gaynell on account of my health."
