In an affidavit letter claiming Indian lands because of blood relation. William H would of been 1/4 blooded Indian.
His aunt Zillah M. O'Bryant-Elliott wrote an account testifying that her sister Nellie Lottie O'Bryant-Lattin-Phillips had a son William H Lattin born in Seattle, Wash May 23, 1897. Nellie and Zillah were half-blooded Indians since their mother Julia Whatulach was a full-blooded Indian belonging to the D'Wamish, Snohomish and Snoqualmie tribes. William H's mother died in 1900 so Zillah took him into her home and raised him.

I, Zillah M, O'Bryant-Elliott, being first
duly sworn, depose and say that I am an Indian of half-blood,
belonging to the D'Wamish tribe of Indians, of western Washington.
That I was born on January 1, 1869, on Guemes Island, Wash.
Father. That my father was Humphrey P.O'Bryant, a white man,
born in Georgia on March 28, 1828, died at Hamilton, Skagit C.,
Wash., on July 2, 1895. He was an Indian Agent on the Port Madison
reservation, Wash.
Mother. That my mother was Julia Whatulach, an Indian of full
blood, belonging to the D'Wamish, Snohomish and Snoqualmie tribes
of Indians.
That Anna Laura O'Bryant-Murrow, of Anacortes, Wash., is a full
sister of mine; and for a more detailed history of my father and
my mother and her Indian descent I refer to an affidavit signed
by her.
Marriages. That I have been married twice.
First. That I was married on March 2, 1886, at Tacoma, Wash.,
by a Probate Judge, to Thomas C. Berry, a white man. That we were
divorced in October, 1893, at Seattle, Wash.
Second. That I was married on December 9, 1900, to Walton J.
Elliott, a white man, We were married at Portland, Oregon, by a
minister. That we were divorced at ____ on ______

Children. That from my first marriage I have the following
children:-
Earl Fontleroy Berry (Elliott), born Dec.2, 1891, at Seattle,
Wash, Single. P.O., Seattle, Wash. C/o Hotel Livingston. Is
engineer on a boat plying to Alaska.

That I had a full sister, named Nellie Lottie O'Bryant-Lattin-
Phillips, who was married twice, first to William Lattin, a white
man, and later to Thomas Phillips. My sister died in Seattle,
Wash., on September 3, 1900.
That by her first marriage she had one child, William H. Lattin,
born in Seattle, Wash., on May 23, 1897. Single.
That on the death of my sister, Nellie, I took her son, William
H.Lattin, then three years of age, into ay home, and I have cared
for him and reared him as a member of my family, and he is now
a member of my family. That his parents, Nellie O'Bryant and
William Lattin were married at Tacoma, Washington, in 1896.
That neither I nor my mother nor my sister, Nellie, nor my son
nor my nephew, William Lattin, ever received any land or other
benefits from the United States Government; and I hereby make
application that I and my son, Earl Fontleroy Berry, and my nephew,
William H. Lattin, be enrolled with the D'Wamish tribe of Indians
and receive benefits with said tribe.

"Lawrence Thomas Quirion
A funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 3, 1999, in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Vancouver, Wash., for Lawrence Thomas Quirion, who died April 29 at age 47. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. May 2 in the church.
Mr. Quirion was born Jan. 3, 1952, in Bethlehem, Pa. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He lived in Seal Rock for about eight years. He owned Lightning Coast Construction of Seal Rock and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newport. He married Susan Lattin in 1987.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Laura E. of Seal Rock; parents, Richard and Helen of Vancouver, Wash.; sisters, Ingrid Smith of Ocean Park, Wash., and Carrie Kachmaryk of Scott Air Force Base, Ill.; and grandmother, Helen Sears of Vancouver, Wash.
Disposition was by cremation. Arrangements are by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Vancouver.
