" Floyd L. Henn, 86 of rural Clearwater, NE, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, NE.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at St. John’s Catholic Church in rural Clearwater, with Fr. James Kramper officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 229 and VFW Post 5816 of Elgin, NE. Visitation will be 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at rural St. John’s, with a 7:30 p.m. wake service. Huffman-Levander Funeral Home of Elgin, NE is in charge of arrangements.
Floyd LeRoy Henn, son of Sylvester and Ada (Stokes) Henn, was born May 9, 1929 at Elgin, NE. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Elgin, NE, attended grade school at Bell Tower country school southwest of Elgin, and graduated from St. Boniface Catholic School in 1947. He was very proud of his perfect attendance, first grade through graduation. He entered the United States Army, proudly fighting in the Korean War and was honorably discharged in March 1953.
On June 2, 1954, Floyd married Marlene Ann Kaster at rural St. John’s Catholic Church southwest of Clearwater. The couple lived and farmed southwest of Clearwater for 60+ years. To this union four children were born: Cindy, Brenda, Pam and Kevin.
Floyd was a member of rural St. John’s Catholic Church, Pope John School Board, Home and School Organization, Knights of Columbus and secretary of the Clearwater Township. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards, visiting, reading, watching and reading war stories and following his grandchildren’s activities.
He is survived by his wife Marlene Henn of Clearwater, NE; three children: Brenda (Paul) Kuhlman of Petersburg, NE; Pam (Ray) Braband of Elgin, NE; Kevin Henn of Clearwater, NE; son-in-law Frank Bohaboj; 14 grandchildren: Kurt (Rita) Bohaboj of Bennington, NE; Keith Bohaboj of Fremont, NE; Alan (Aleisha) Bohaboj of Howells, NE; Jeremy (Amanda) Kuhlman of Edmond, OK; Matthew (Amanda) Kuhlman of Beatrice, NE; Christopher (Teri) Kuhlman of Gibbon, NE; Benjamin (Ashley) Kuhlman of Hickman, NE; Nathan (Lexee) Kuhlman of Lincoln, NE; Danielle Kuhlman of Lincoln, NE; AJ (Allison) Braband of Cleveland, OH; Dean Braband of Omaha, NE; Michael Braband of Elgin, NE; Beau Henn of Omaha, NE; Sgt. Floyd was preceded in death by his daughter Cindy Bohaboj; parents Sylvester and Ada Henn; parents-in-law John and Ann Kaster; and four siblings: Roger Henn, Delores Henn, Lois Camp and Janie Overton."

Roger George Henn was born September 18, 1931, to Sylvester “Vet” and Ada (Stokes) Henn south of Elgin. He attended and graduated from St. Boniface school. Roger married Marjorie Kubes September 28, 1953, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Battle Creek. Roger served in the U.S. Army at Ft. Riley, KS from January 1953 to December 1954. Following his discharge, the couple moved to a farm north of Battle Creek where they raised their nine kids and operated a dairy farm. Roger married Joan (Fisher) Hupp October 3, 2007. They resided both in Albion and Chandler, AZ. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion in Albion.
Roger is survived by his wife Joan, children; Therese (Justin) Zeigler, of Tucson, AZ, Patricia (John) Remus, and Joan (JR) Walber, of Omaha, Mike (Marsha) Henn, of Battle Creek, Barb (Kevin) Connot, of Allen, Susan (Allen) Penas, of Waverly, Mary Kay (Scott) Hasemann, of Wayne, Nancy (Dwight) Praeuner, of Battle Creek, Kristen (Dennis) Richardson, Wallingford, CT, stepsons; Dr. Brad (Michelle) Hupp of Venice, FL, Corey (Mary) Hupp of Palm Desert, CA, Rob (Gretchen) Hupp of Stanton, 23 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and 10 step-grandchildren, one step-great grandson, brothers; Floyd (Marlene) Henn of Clearwater, Dean (Mary) Henn, Danny (Raedean) Henn and Terry (Jan) Henn all of Elgin; nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie in January 1991; and sisters; Delores Henn, Janie Overton, and Lois Camp, each in 2010, and Lois' husband, Bob in 2013.
He passed away Sunday at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk."

Dolores Elaine Henn

" Dolores Elaine Henn, daughter of Sylvester and Ada (Stokes) Henn was born October 5, 1934 on the family farm near Elgin, NE. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Elgin. She attended St. Boniface Elementary School, graduated from St. Boniface High School with the class of 1952 and attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE.
She returned to Elgin, NE where she worked as a teller for the Bank of Elgin. In 1960, Dolores moved to Aurora, CO where she worked as an Executive Admin Asst. at the Samsonite Corporation for many years. Dolores then worked at Aquanomics and also for Walker Parking Consultants as a Business/Office Manager. She retired on March 1, 1996.
Dolores was a 40 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3224 in Aurora, CO. Her many hobbies included bowling, reading, gardening, playing cards and crocheting. She was a super avid sports fan and loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son: James Henn of Aurora, CO; 3 grandchildren: Joey, Justin and Kyra, all of Colorado, Special Friend: Joe Caponiti of Aurora, CO; 7 siblings and spouses: Floyd (Marlene) Henn of Clearwater, NE; Roger (Joan) Henn of Crofton, NE; Dean (Mary Jane) Henn of Elgin, NE; Dan (Raedean) Henn of Elgin, NE; Lois (Bob) Camp of Yankton, SD; Mary Jane Overton of Dickinson, ND; Terry (Jan) Henn of Elgin, NE; along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Mary Jane passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Triumph Hospital in Mandan, ND.
Mary Jane Henn, daughter of Sylvester and Ada (Stokes) Henn was born March 20, 1945 on the family farm near Elgin, Nebraska. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Elgin. She attended St. Boniface Elementary School, graduated from St. Boniface High School with the class of 1963 and later attended trade school in Minnesota before returning to Nebraska and marrying Ralph Overton. She lived throughout the Midwest, spending time in Nebraska, Montana, New Mexico, Missouri and North Dakota. She finally settled in Dickinson, North Dakota where she has lived for the last 20 years. Mary Jane's hobbies included crafts, playing cards, reading, gardening, and crocheting. The greatest joy in her life was her grandchildren and she enjoyed every moment spent with them.
Mary Jane is survived by her 5 brothers: Floyd (Marlene) Henn, Roger (Joan) Henn, Dean (Mary Jane) Henn, Dan (Readean) Henn, Terry (Jan) Henn, all of Nebraska; 1 sister: Lois (Robert) Camp of South Dakota; 2 sons: Trent Overton of St.Louis, MO; Nolan (LaCota) Overton of Dickinson, ND; and 1 daughter: Nicole Overton of Dickinson, ND; and her 8 grandchildren: Jacob, Zachary, Jennifer, Kelton, Vanessa, KaDynse, Dante,EvaRyst; Also calling her grandma are Finny, Connor and MyKa.
