" Gene Paul Henry, Jr. age 59 of Norfolk formally of Oakdale, NE will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh, Ne with Pastor John Petersen, Officiating. Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by Neligh American Legion Post172. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at the Funeral Home in Neligh. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Gene Paul Henry, Jr was born on March 24, 1956 at Miami, FL to Gene Paul Henry Sr. and Barbara Annabelle (Mawson) Henry. He attended school and graduated from Neligh High School. Gene entered the United State Navy on March 29, 1974 at Columbus, NE and was discharged on January 25, 1978 at Great Lakes, IL. On June 18, 1977, he was united in marriage to Markene Joy Verplank in Neligh. To this marriage are three children, Gene, Cassie, and Hollie. He worked construction and was a certified welder. On, July 15, 1990 he was united in marriage to Pamela Dee Bareford at Neligh, NE. Gene Paul liked to sing, play guitar, raising purebred Dalmatians, reading the Bible, and teaching Sunday School.
Survived by his wife, Pam of Norfolk, NE son, Gene Paul Henry III and wife, Carolyn of CA, daughter, Cassie Marie Brown and husband Upton of Beatrice, NE, Hollie Annabelle Tomjack and husband, Jeremy of Beatrice, NE. 11 grandchildren. father, Robert Sharples of Neligh, NE, sisters: Caroline (Rick) Collins of Fullerton, NE, Kathy (Trejo) Calvillo of Glennville, NE, Madonna (Mike) McCray of Fullerton, NE, Brothers: John (Connie Rae) Sharples of Fullerton, NE and Steven Sharples of Tilden, NE,.
Preceded in death by his parents and grandpa Dean Jones."

Gary Duane Wilkinson

" Funeral Services for Gary D. Wilkinson age 63, of Elgin will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Park Congregational Church rural Elgin with Rev. Ray Avidano officiating. Burial will be in the West Cedar Valley Cemetery of Elgin. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 19, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater.
He passed away Sunday, December 17, 2006 at his home.
Gary Duane Wilkinson was born February 20, 1943 at Elgin, Nebraska the son of Robert Max and Irene Elizabeth (Von Bonn) Wilkinson. Gary was baptized in the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Elgin. He graduated from Elgin High School with the class of 1961.
On October 6, 1962 at the Congregational Church in Neligh he was united in marriage to Sharon Twiss. The couple made their home west of Elgin where they were engaged in farming.
Gary was a member of the Elgin Volunteer Fire. Dept. and also served on the Central Farmer?s COOP Board. He enjoyed stock car racing, Jammin? in the Park and card parties.
Survivors include his wife Sharon Wilkinson of Elgin; 3 children: Brian and his wife Carma Wilkinson of Cottage Grove, MN, Karin and her husband Mark Polifka of Ellis, KS, and Robert and his wife Sue of Lincoln, NE: 7grandchildren: mother Irene Wilkinson of Elgin,NE: 3 brothers; Ron and Sharon Wilkinson of Elgin,NE; Max ?Bud? and Tarri Wilkinson of Elgin,NE, Earl ?Dean? and Linda Wilkinson of Oakdale,NE; a sister: Lois and Al Buffington of Fort Collins, CO.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Max Wilkinson; and a sister Patsy Wilkinson."
