Kathy (Katie) Jo Madsen born June 19, 1951, and passed away on February, 5, 2015 at Hope Hospice House in Fort Myers, Fla., after a lengthy battle with cancer. No memorial services will be held.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold J. and Elizabeth (Betty) Petersen of Kenosha, Wis., and her first husband, Wayne Feichtner.
She is survived by her husband, Warren (Norton) Madsen; and her son, James (Jim) Petersen (Julie) of Davenport, Ia.; two twin grandsons, Jonathan and Joshua Petersen (12) of Kenosha, Wis., and two step-grandsons of Davenport, Ia.; two brothers, Bruce Petersen, (Cheryl), of Navarre, Fla., and Jerry Petersen, (Chris) of Bradenton, Fla.; two step-daughters (Julie and Laurie) and four step-grandsons of Kenosha, Wis., as well as nieces, nephews and cousins of Kenosha, Wis., Evansville, Wis., and Bradenton, Fla.
Katie worked at Tri-Clover manufacturing until she retired.
Katie loved motorcycle riding with Norton and they took many long trips across the country on their Harley. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, and her extended family with their Thursday night family dinners. She loved Garfield the cat, Tinkerbell and dragonflies. She collected dragonflies on jewelry and just about anything else she could find them on.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Fort Myers, Florida 33908
