Alcy Alice Eaton

From Jo Nelle (Conger-Wagner) Linnaus Records: No name shown. "Death ca. 1817.
She may of been married to Thomas Howell, Father of Catherine Howell rather
than this Conger?"
******************
Doug Schueths notes that age of her children dictates this is probably not the Elsey married to Howell.
But other researcher notes below:
From gedcom to Doug Schueths in Jul 1998 from Eaton descendant
Alsey/Elsey is a *possible* child of Catherine & Peter D. Eaton. This possibility is suggested by researchers since she was a recipient of money from the estate of Rev. Peter Eaton. There is a record that Mary and EALSE Eaton joined the New Britain Baptist Church on 1 July 1777. She probably died in Surry Co., NC ~1827. There is a Will of Alce CLARK dated 29 June 1827 identifying a daughter, Elizabeth ALLGOOD. A copy of the John Garner Bible says that John GARNER married Elcy Eaton and they lived in PA, VA and NC and that she died before 1818.

Thomas Howell

From Jo Nelle (Conger-Wagner) Linnaus Records: Birth and Death dates, places.
Her sources:"Information from LaDonna Doughty; Thomas Howell will and estate
papers, Book 2, Surry Co., NC. James Howell will, Kent Co., DE. Surry Co. Land
grants, 1778-1781. Surry Co. Will book, 4, June, 1827.

Elsey Eaton

From Jo Nelle (Conger-Wagner) Linnaus Records: Birth and Death dates,
places."Will probated Nov 1827. Married 2nd to Robert Clarke on 30 Oct. 1786
Surry Co., NC."

This may be the Eaton #RIN 1041 supposedly married to a Conger. Needs research.

Ruth Howell

"Never married."

He applied for vacant land in Rowan Co, NC (300 acres on Sugar Creek.)
Peter D. Eaton is buried in the Montgomery Baptist Church Cem,
Bucks Co, PA. There was a Peter Eaton listed on the Tax Rolls of New
Britain Twp., Bucks Co, PA in 1766.
